Good Friday - Obligation or Not

I've done it just too many times…written for a bit and then disappeared for long…so lets just move past the part where I apologize to you people. So backed by popular demand (like to think so at least)

Any who, I just learnt a very interesting fact about our religion the other day. Apparently Monty Thursday, Good Friday and many other significant days, are not days of obligation. Yada it is not requisite of people to attend mass on these days. So the Popats made the most of this opportunity and decided to skip mass these two days. However today being Good Friday it wasn't easy. Bling and I had to avoid all main roads leading to the church, cause we wouldn't want people judging us… now would we. Anyways we somehow made our way to Goobi's place and then the unexpected happened. It started raining and while we were all dry and cozy in 'Goobi's Balcao', I only wonder what might have been the fate of the people who went for mass, thinking it was an obligation to do so. If only our church cares to impart good knowledge about our religion…

So just the same, I have no obligation to blog on regular basis… and I'm going to keep up this lame habit…
