Surprise Shatter

The weirdest thing happened yesterday. I had been planning over a month to give a perfect ‘surprise’ gift to someone (Hypothetically let’s call the gift ‘The Matrix’ and the person ‘Trinity ’). The Matrix is neither something expensive nor something unique, but in this case it was the thought that would count… However with regards to ‘The Matrix’ I had no clue what so ever from where and how to get it and I was kinda running outta time. So outta desperation I went to my friends for help and ‘The Popats’ (I will later write an exclusive post with respect to ‘The Popats’) came to my rescue, and everything was set….

Now the plan was to take Trinity to the store giving her the liberty to choose. So it’s almost noon and both of us were visiting a friend; and as the three of us were having a conversation, Trinity suddenly outta the blue says “You know Edson! I really love the Matrix…can u get me one…” I was totally shocked. I mean what are the odds. I was just staring at Trinity wit a total lost expression for atleast 15 seconds. Not knowing how to react I just remarked “That’s insane Trinity, who would give such a stupid gift…Please don’t expect such a thing from me…” All Trinity said that I was very mean and insensitive. I just made it look like I didn’t care and in my mind there was a small little Edson doing this

However I couldn’t let my one month planning go waste so on our way back I took trinity to the store and told her tat I was anyways suppose to give her ‘the Matrix’ today…. Now I am in a dilemma whether she actually believed that I had planned this in advance or I just gave her ‘The Matrix’ cause she called me mean and insensitive…. Whatever it is I don’t wanna know cause either ways ‘the Matrix’ made her happy and that’s what I wanted all along. So guys with this I’ve learnt that it doesn’t matter how and what you can do to bring a smile on someone’s face, what matters most is if you succeed in bringing that SMILE… So temme which of the expression should the ‘Little Edson’ in my mind have
